IIT-Kharagpur signs MoU with George Washington University

The Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) at IIT Kharagpur has signed an MoU with the Law School of George Washington University (GWU) for students and faculty exchange.

The Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) at IIT Kharagpur has signed an MoU with the Law School of George Washington University (GWU) for students and faculty exchange.

At a recent meeting in Washington DC, the MoU was signed where Vinod Gupta, a distinguished alumnus and Life Fellow of the IIT pledged $ 2,50,000 (Rs 1.6 crore) for the next five years for exchange of 8-10 students along with a faculty member between GWU and IIT Kharagpur, IIT-Kgp officials said.

His previous support has already allowed for such exchanges and for a variety of other activities such as lectures by GW Law faculty, members at IIT Kharagpur and
scholarships for Rajiv Gandhi Law graduates to attend GW Law's LLM program and others, the officials added.
