The central government’s department of science and technology is inviting applications from eligible candidates for `Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)’, a component of INSPIRE. A total of 10,000 scholarships are available annually under SHE. The scholarships are limited only to candidates studying natural/basic sciences in BSc, BSc (hons), integrated MSc/MS courses in any recognised institution in India. The scheme in its current format does not include courses in engineering, medicine, technology and other professional/ applied science courses.
Eligibility:
Students who are among the top 1% in Class 12 in their respective board examinations and are pursuing courses in natural and basic sciences at the BSc or integrated MSc levels
