Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has launched a PhD programme in mass communication this year. It said the last date for sale as well as submission of application form would be April 30, 2013.

According to C P Singh, dean, University School of Mass Communication, the specialisations available under the programme are journalism, media business and economics, communication of innovations, media and youth, new media and film and electronic media.
According to CS Rai, director (research and consultancy) at the university, applicants are going to be selected through a Research Aptitude Test (RAT) scheduled for May 12, 2013.
