Delhi-based Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has started its admission process for 2016-17. The university will conduct online admissions for around 31,000 seats and for 150 academic programmes. The admission brochure for all medical, professional and technical programmes of the university, application forms, common entrance test (CET) schedule and other related information is available on www.ipu.ac.in.

The deadline for submitting applications for the postgraduate medical courses is March 1, 2016. For programmes which do not require candidates to appear for the CET, the last date to apply is May 17, 2016. For all other remaining programmes, the last date is March 29, 2016.
The admission process for the PhD programme and BVoc programme of the university will be notified shortly. For the BArch programme, the application process will start from June 1, 2016 and the last date for applying is July 4, 2016. This year, the application fee is Rs.1,000. To maintain transparency, candidates will now have to upload their thumb impression in the application form.
The university has also set up an admissions helpdesk for applicants. Candidates can dial 011- 25302167 for any admission-related queries. Candidates can also send their questions at mailipuadmissionsonline@gmail.com.
