Applications are invited from Indian students who wish to pursue bachelor’s degree in Japan. The field of studies are social sciences and humanities, laws, politics, ­pedagogy, sociology, literature, history, Japanese language and others, economics, business administration; science, electric and electronic studies, ­mechanical studies, civil ­engineering and architecture, chemical studies and others; agricultural studies, hygienic studies, biology; medicine, ­dentistry. The term of scholarship is five years from April (Including one year of Japanese language training period), a stipend of 1,17,000 Yen per month (approximately Rs. 69,000 per month for the year 2014) and a round-trip airfare will be ­provided

Eligibility: Students who have ­academic ability equal to that of a high school graduate and they should be aged between 17 to 21 years.
