Admission to Moolchand’s Smt Janak Rani Talwar School of Nursing
The Smt Janak Rani Talwar School of Nursing, India’s only ISO certified nursing school run by Moolchand Hospital has announced admission to its three-and-a-half years General Nursing and Midwifery course. Candidates between the age of 17-25, who have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks or equivalent from any stream in Class 12 can apply. Forms and prospectus will be available from May 20 and the last date for submission of forms will be June 21. The entrance test will take place on June 23.

Bachelor of Arts in 3D animation and visual effects
Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) will now offer Bachelor of Arts in 3D Animation and Visual Effects degree in collaboration with IGNOU.
The three-year degree programme will focus on creation of digital video (DV) films through intense training in concepts of film-making such as basics of film making, character animation and setup, and compositing and editing. The newly-launched joint-programme will be made available across the country at select MAAC centres.

The students will be awarded with an exclusive degree by IGNOU along with a certificate from MAAC.
