New design school at Gurgaon

New design school at Gurgaon
Ansal Institute of Technology has set up Sushant School of Design (SSD) for conducting innovative courses in design. Located on the sprawling Ansal Institute of Technology campus in Gurgaon, it will initially offer a three-year diploma course in Interior Design. The first batch in SSD will commence from August this year.

Opening of Apeejay Stya University
The Apeejay Education Society recently announced the opening of Apeejay Stya University at Sohna, Gurgaon. The university will have School of Computer Science, School of Engineering-Electronics-Communication, Instrumentation, Information Technology, School of Management Science, School of Design, School of Education and School of Mass Communication and Journalism. The university would recognise a number of examination scores, including AIEEE, GMAT, SAT, and SAT II.

The class of 2007-10 gets placements with some of India’s best known hotels including Oberoi Hotels, Ista and Park. AIH is currently running BSc (hospitality studies) affiliated to the University of Mumbai and three years BSc in hotel management and catering operations affiliated to Y Chavan Maharashtra Open University.
