Panasonic support for bright Indians

Japanese electronics giant Panasonic will support brilliant students from India with a scholarship of ¥150,000 per month and tuition fee for the first year.

Japanese electronics giant Panasonic will support brilliant students from India with a scholarship of ¥150,000 per month and tuition fee (a maximum of ¥200,000 to be paid per each half year) for the first year. For the subsequent two years, the award will increase to ¥180,000 per month besides the tuition fee (a maximum of ¥250,000 to be paid per each half year) and entrance fee (a maximum of ¥250,000 to be paid)

Panasonic invites participants from across top 20 engineering colleges to the 2013 Panasonic Scholarship Programme. The applications opened from December 1, 2011 and will close on March 31, 2012.



This exchange programme provides an opportunity to the students to understand Japanese culture, an encouragement of various social interactions for the future and get immense knowledge of leading edge-technologies.



The students should be Indian citizens, graduates or pending graduates (in science/technology), and must have a desire to master the Japanese language for understanding Japanese culture. The criteria of selection are not only based on academic performance, but personal characters.
