In an advertisement regarding the recruitment, the state-run electric transmission company said the number of posts and other details will be provided in a notification that will be published on its official website on January 4, 2018.
The online registration for the vacancies announced will begin on January 5, 2018. Reservation will be provided to Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer), Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities based on the number of vacancies and government directive.
Candidates applying for the job should not be above 28 years as on December 31, 2017.
Only those candidates who have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2018 will be eligible for recruitment. The qualifying marks shall be as declared by GATE 2018 organising body.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained (out of 100) in GATE in the corresponding paper and then called for a group discussion and personal interview.
The selected candidates will be provided Rs 8.6 lakh during training and Rs 15 lakh per annum after training. They will have to sign a bond saying they will successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve for at least three years.
The last date for submission of online application is January 31, 2018.
