RRB ALP admit card 2018 for first stage CBT released

The Railway Recruitment Board on Sunday released the admit cards of candidates for the first stage exam or computer-based test (CBT) for the posts of assistant loco pilot (ALP) and technicians (Group C) under CEN 01/2018. The examination will begin on August 9, 2018.

In a notification issued earlier, the board had said that candidates will be able to download their call letters, four days before the date of their CBT. Candidates can log in with their credentials through the link provided on the official websites of RRBs and download their e-call letters after they are released.

Meanwhile, RRB said on Thursday that the vacancies for the posts of assistant loco pilot (ALP) and technicians (Group C) is likely to be increased to 60,000 from 26,502 notified earlier. The post-wise details of the enhanced vacancies will be advertised on the official website of RRB in the due course.

The mock link for the first stage CBT was activated on July 26. The candidates can also know the city, date and session of their examination by logging in with their credentials on the official websites of RRBs.

Candidates will have to answer 75 multiple choice questions within 60 minutes - 80 minutes will be given to eligible persons with disability candidates accompanied with a writer. One-third of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for a wrong answer.

Around 15 million people have registered for Group C and D jobs advertised by the Indian Railways.
