The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to announce the results for its probationary officers (PO) preliminary examination 2016 on July 18.
The advertisement for recruitment of PO (CRPD/PO/2016-17/02) mentioned the tentative date for the declaration of results as July 18. It said candidates can download their call letters for the Online Main exam from July 21 (onwards) and that the main exam will be held on July 31 (Sunday).
Candidates can check their results on the official website of the state-run bank once they are declared.

3) Click on the link for ‘SBI PO prelims result 2016’
4) Enter the required details and submit
A large number of candidates appeared in the preliminary examinations on July 2, 3, 9 and 10. The exam had three sections with objective type questions of 100 marks. The English language section had 30 questions carrying 30 marks while the quantitative ability and aptitude section had 35 questions and 35 marks each.
Candidates need to qualify in each of the three sections by securing passing marks to be decided by the bank.
An adequate number of candidates in each category will be shortlisted for the main examination as decided by the bank (approximately 20 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability).
SBI PO exam: Tentative schedule of events
The application process for 2,200 SBI probationary officer jobs began on May 4 and continued until May 24.
Of the total 2,200 vacancies, 1,028 seats are for general candidates, 590 for Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates, 351 for Scheduled Castes (SC) and 231 for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates.
The shortlisted candidates in the main examination will be called for a group discussion and interview.
