Tamil Nadu HSC (Class 12) exam results today, students to get it on mobile phones too
Most of the 9 lakh students, who appeared for the Higher Secondary Certificate or Class 12 board examinations, will get their results on their mobile phones as soon as they are uploaded on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations on Friday.

State education minister KA Sengottaiyan said the central server will send out the results of individual students with their marks on the number they registered with the school authorities after the results are announced. He said nearly 95% of the students were covered under the SMS result scheme.
For Tamil medium students, certificates will also contain their names in Tamil for the first time. Till now, the certificates were printed only in English, the minister said.
The board collected the mobile phone numbers of students or their family members through their schools.
The Class 12 exams were conducted in March and reports said the evaluation of answer sheets began on April 6 and was completed on April 22.
