Top colleges keep hope alive with third lists

Admission to a top DU college is still possible, as a number of them - including Hindu, Hansraj, Ramjas and Lady Shri Ram - came out with their third cut-off lists for some subjects on Wednesday. HT reports.

Admission to a top DU college is still possible, as a number of them - including Hindu, Hansraj, Ramjas and Lady Shri Ram - came out with their third cut-off lists for some subjects on Wednesday.

At Hindu, the cut-off for commerce has come down by 0.25 percentage points to 96.25%. For economics, the cut-off is 96.5%, a drop of 0.5 percentage points. A dip has been seen in the case of English, with the cut-off coming down from 96.5% to 93.5%.

Hansraj, too, has come out with a third list for all subjects, except botany and Hindi. The sharpest fall was seen in the case of anthropology - from 90% in the second list to 85% in the third list. In economics, the dip has been of 0.25 percentage points, bringing the cut-off down to 96.5%.

LSR has also kept admissions to courses such as economics, English and history open with minor drops in cut-offs. Ramjas has seats in all courses other than math, statistics and zoology.
