This week Career Quotient 2009 was held in two schools — Mater Dei, Tilak Lane and GD Salwan, Pusa Road — thus increasing the number of partner schools to more
than 20.

Students and teachers are overwhelmingly endorsing the concept of career assessment test in their schools. Around 150 students of Class X in Mater Dei school took the test while 400 kids of Class X, XI and XII of GD Salwan participated.

With this test, the aptitude of students is tested on diverse parameters — from
humanities and science to the study of subjects requiring creative skill.

Career Quotient is an HT Horizons initiative, which aims to sensitise students about their areas of interest and the respective career options they have.

This assessment is not a time-consuming affair and it only takes 40 minutes to answer 71 multiple-choice questions.

Following the test, results are sent to the students’ addresses within three weeks. The results offer them guidelines to determine the course of their career.
