University of Sheffield is offering three merit undergraduate scholarships for Indian students starting their undergraduate degree studies in September 2012.

University of Sheffield is offering three merit undergraduate scholarships for Indian students starting their undergraduate degree studies in September 2012.

Each scholarship is worth £6,500 of the undergraduate course tuition fee per year. The scholarships will take the form of a fee reduction.

To be eligible for the scholarships, an applicant must be an Indian national or permanently domiciled in India, apply for a study place by June 22, 2012 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2012.

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.

There are four postgraduate scholarships also available for Indian students. Each scholarship is worth £6,500 of the postgraduate taught masters degree tuition fee per year, for one year of study. The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.

To be eligible for the India Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2012, applicants must be an Indian national or permanently domiciled in India, apply for a study place by June 22, 2012 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2012.

The deadline for applications is June 29, 2012. Scholarship results will be announced July 27, 2012.
