UPTET result 2017: Only 11.11% candidates declared successful

The examination regulatory authority on Friday declared the result of the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017.

The examination regulatory authority on Friday declared the result of the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017. A total 11.11% candidates emerged successful in the examination held on October 15 this year.

At primary level 17.34% candidates were declared successful while at upper primary level, 7.87% candidates cleared the exam.

As per reports, for primary and upper primary level a total of 3,49,192 and 6,27,568 candidates had got themselves registered out of which 2,76,636 candidates appeared in the exam for primary level and 5,31,712 candidates sat for upper primary level examination.

The result revealed that for primary level a total of 47,975 candidates cleared the examination while at upper primary level 41,888 aspirants were declared successful. According to Sutta Singh, secretary, examination regulatory authority, the result has been uploaded on the website www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

He further said the result will be subject to the decision of Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court in the writ petition bearing number 2822 of 2017. As per reports, the certificate and marksheets of the examination will be made available to candidates only after final decision in the writ petition.
