He also laughs off Manohar Parrikar’s claims that the BJP could stake claim on the government. “It reflects the utter frustration of Parrikar,” he says, adding that Parrikar ought to be the defence minister and fulfil his duties rather than interfering in Goa politics.
The Congress has won 17 seats in the state out of 40, the BJP 13 and other parties have won 10. The Aam Aadmi Party failed to open an account in Goa.
