Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “It will take (SP Chief) Akhilesh Yadav another 10 lives to become like his father Mulayam Singh Yadav,” accoridng to ANI. “Akhilesh Yadav pushed off his father from the post of chief to sit on it himself,” he further said.

PM Modi in Gujarat's Kheda rally said, “The youth of the state, aged up to 25 years, have never seen what a curfew looks like. I have to save them from the bomb explosions, only BJP's double-engine govt can do this."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a public rally in Kheda, Gujarat said, “Your one vote in 2014 has created a lot of difference in killing terrorism in the country. Let alone cities of the country, terrorists have to think a lot even before attacking our borders. But Congress questions our surgical strike,” according to ANI reports.

Ahead of Gujarat assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address rallies in Kutch's Anjar, Jamnagar's Gordhanpur, Bhavnagar's Palitana, Jamnagar's Gordhanpar, and Rajkot on Monday, ANI reported.

Congress leader and Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot in Dediapada, Gujarat said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been campaigning in every street of Gujarat, ANI reported. He further said, “Situation arose as BJP did not work for state. No enquiry was conducted in Morbi incident where 135 people died. If you vote us in, BJP will be forced to introspect.”

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra is underway and that it is not only for “elections and votes”, but to connect people with an ideology.  Speaking to news agency ANI, Kharge further said that some people are trying to jeopardise values enshrined in constitution and Yatra is meant to unite people against divisive forces.

Haryana Panchayat polls: BJP's Sakshi Gaur wins from ward number 10 of Ambala Zilla Parishad by 739 votes.

JJP MLA from Shahbad Ram Karan’s son Kanwarpal wins from ward number 1 of Kurukshetra Zila Parishad by 600 votes.

BJP turncoat and AAP candidate from ward number 9 of Ambala Zila Parishad, Makhan Singh Lobana defeats BJP candidate Mandeep Rana by 734 votes.

The counting of votes for the Haryana Zilla Parishad elections has begun today.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday took on the main opposition Aam Aadmi Party in the run-up to the MCD election saying that “Arvind Kejriwal considers himself the owner of Delhi.”

According to Haryana State Election Commissioner Dhanpat Singh, all arrangements have been made for the counting of votes in the state.

The results for Haryana Zilla Parishad will be announced today. The elections to 143 panchayat samitis and 22 zilla parishads were held on November 22, and the elections of all gram panchayats were held on November 25.
