Vikramaditya Singh, Congress party's Shimla rural candidate confidently said that his party will form a full government with a full majority in Himachal Pradesh.
Vikramaditya Singh, the son of the former chief minister of Himachal Pradesh Late Virbhadra Singh added that his mother Pratibha Singh is one of the contenders for the CM post.

Forest Minister BJP's Rakesh Pathania trails in Fatehpur
Incumbent MLA and Congress candidate Bhawani Singh Pathania and BJP's Rakesh Pathania were locked in a neck-and-neck contest in Himachal Pradesh's Fatehpur assembly seat. After trailing in the initial rounds, Bhawani Singh Pathania took a lead of 456 votes. Vote count in favour of the Congress candidate stood at 14,097 votes, compared to 13,641 votes for Rakesh Pathania.
The BJP had shifted Forest Minister Rakesh Pathania from Nurpur, which he has represented three times, to Fatehpur.

Former Himachal Pradesh Congress chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is leading by over 3,600 votes against the BJP's Vijay Kumar Agnihotri from Nadaun constituency in Hamirpur district. Of the total 15,893 votes counted so far, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu polled 9,362 against 5,756 votes for the BJP candidate.
Shankey Thukral of the Aam Aadmi Party was at a distant third with 632 votes.

A look at Pachhad constituency in Sirmaur
The constituency of Pachhad in Sirmaur, which is reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) communities, witnessed a battle between two women last time. Incumbent BJP MLA Reena Kashyap faced Dayal Payari, who lost as a BJP rebel last time.
Dayal Payari was seen as the BJP frontrunner for a by-election in 2019. The BJP instead fielded Reena Kashyap.

Last year, he was denied a ticket during the Fatehpur bypoll and he resigned from his post. The party fielded Baldev Thakur during the bypoll but he lost to the Congress’s Bhawani Pathania by more than 5,800 votes.
