And she realises it’s a sad thing. “It is unfortunate that I got branded sexy … there is so much more to me. I’m forced to look sexy — those are the kind of roles I’m offered,” she says in an interview to men’s magazine FHM.

That doesn’t mean she’s tired of the item act, though. Next up after Chalo Dilli’s Laila is a sizzling sadomasochistic number in Murder 2. “The song is very sexy, crazy, there is a lot of blood, it’s a little gory — he’s hitting me, but I love the madness,” she says. Till we get a glimpse of that, there’s the Dr Zeus video, Aag Ka Dariya, that shows her only in strips of satin that slowly come off. But that’s cool: “Who cares if people only focus on what I’m wearing in the video!” Or not wearing otherwise?
