Perry, 26, trashed a recent report that claimed the couple was trying a trial separation, saying that just because they kept their relationship private, it didn't mean there was trouble in it. "Just cause we don't flaunt our relationship doesn't mean there's something wrong with it. Privacy is our luxury (sic)," the Daily Mail quoted Perry as tweeting.

Brand, 36, later posted a message on the same site, supporting his wife. The couple tied the knot in a ceremony in India in October last year.
