The newly-wed actress planned the party along with her sister-in-law Shabana and held it at the latter's Pali Hill residence. Shakeel turns 34 this year.

She made a list of his school and college friends and sent them personal invites. Shabana helped her with the names and contacts of his friends.

Apart from family members, there were 40 of Shakeel's friends who landed at Shabana's terrace to surprise Shakeel.

After celebrating the birthday, Shakeel and Amu left for their honeymoon to Europe.
