Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Yash Chopra was honoured as the Asian filmmaker of the year at the ongoing 14th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) in South Korea.

The filmmaker was felicitated by director Kim Dong-ho.
“You have to prove that you’re good once again. You’re only as good as your last film,” Chopra said in a brief acceptance speech.
Chopra’s production house, Yash Raj Films, also had a strong presence at PIFF —many of his popular films, like Lamhe, Dhoom 2, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and New York, were showcased in a retrospective section at the festival.
Kabir Khan, who directed New York was also present at the event. PIFF, one of the largest film festivals in Asia, is being held between October 8 to October 16.
