Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi was spotted taking her eight-month-old baby daughter, Krishna, 8 months, for a stroll around New York City the other day.
Krishna spent the morning in a baby harness taking a stroll with her mother, reports the Daily Mail. The 40-year-old wore a pink dress and knee high boots as she lunched in a Manhattan restaurant before leaving with Krishna and a male companion.
Lakshmi, who divorced British author Salman Rushdie back in 2007, says she is more interested in being a parent than finding a man. “Right now, I’m excited about making my daughter happy,” she said. “Honestly, I live and die by the tiniest gestures and expressions on her face."
