Anupam Kher's belated birthday celebration with 'street friends' impresses fans: 'So sweet'. Watch

Actor Anupam Kher turned 67 on Monday. He later celebrated it with children on the streets of Mumbai.

Actor Anupam Kher, who turned 67 on Monday, spent the day filming for his upcoming film Uunchai at Madh Island, and celebrated it in the end with the film's cast and crew that included his co-stars Danny Denzongpa, Boman Irani, and Amitabh Bachchan. However, he took out time to celebrate it with his friends on the street once he returned to Mumbai. The actor took to Instagram to share a video of his belated birthday celebration.

Anupam Kher celebrated his birthday with children on the streets.

He captioned the post, "Happy I could celebrate my belated birthday with my street friends #Darshana #Divya and #Yogesh and cut the cake with them. I feel really blessed. Missed the other kids especially #Kohinoor and #Bharati. #Love #Friends #StreetsOfMumbai," adding a red heart emoji. In the clip, he could be seen standing with his young friends, while a cake was placed on a stool before him.

He started the video by introducing his friends, and said, "I could not spend my birthday with Darshana, Divya and Yogesh and the other two are not here, but I got a cake for them." He then told the children to join him as he cut the cake, while all of them sang Happy Birthday To "Anupam Uncle." He offered the cake to the little girl and asked the children to share it among themselves, before he said goodbye.

Anupam's fans applauded his gesture. His son Sikander Kher commented a heart emoji. One fan wrote, "Yahi aapki batein dosro se alag krti hai (This is what makes you stand out from the others)." Another wrote, "You Are Sooooo Sweeeeet Sir."

Anupam marked his 67th birthday by sharing two photographs of himself posing in just his underwear and showing off his fit body. “Happy birthday to me! Today as I start my 67th year, I am motivated and excited to present a new vision I have for myself!" he captioned the post.

Anupam is currently being seen in Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files. He will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai, which also stars Parineeti Chopra and Neena Gupta.
