Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Shahid Kapoor join Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon at Bhediya screening. Watch

Bhediya actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon were joined by Shahid Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam and Vaani Kapoor at the film screening on Thursday.

A star-studded screening was hosted for Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's film Bhediya on Thursday. The film releases in theatres on Friday. All from Shahid Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor to Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam and Vaani Kapoor attended the screening.

Varun was in a dramatic black shirt and matching denims and shoes while Kriti joined him in a three-piece short suit. Kriti's parents and sister Nupur Sanon also came to watch the film. They all posed near a fake wolf statue placed at the event.

Rajkummar Rao, who has starred in producer Dinesh Vijan's earlier films from the horror-comedy franchise: Stree and Roohi, attended the screening in a white shirt and blue denims. His Roohi co-star Janhvi was seen in a striped dress with a side slit. Janhvi will now be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in Bawaal. However, Stree actor Shraddha Kapoor, who also has a cameo in Bhediya, wasn't spotted. Sharad Kelkar has narrated the film and joined the team at the screening.

Shahid Kapoor was seen in a skyblue shirt and denims. Sonakshi too arrived in a denim jacket and matching pants. She posed with her rumoured boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. Vaani was see in a short brown dress whereas Yami was in a black top and blue skirt. Interestingly, Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan arrived in similar black top and pants paired with white animal print jacket. Karan Johar, Neha Dhupia and husband Angad Bedi, Zayed Khan with wife, filmmaker Kabir Khan and wife Mini Mathur, Abhimanyu Dassani, Poonam Dhillon, Jackky Bhagnani, director Shashank Khaitan, Sophie Choudry, Elli Avram were also seen at the screening.

After Stree, Bhediya is also directed by Amar Kaushik. The film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee and Paalin Kabak. It released theatrically in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil in 2D and 3D. It is presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films.
