Mahima Choudhary, also a Congress backer, is covering a lot of ground — she zipped over to Gujarat after campaigning in Bihar, and is expected to be in Delhi on May 2. Zeenat Aman and Bhojpuri star Ravi Kisan may come, too.

Naming Minissha Lamba and Tanushree Dutta among other probables, an All-India Congress Committee member said, “Many celebrities have been campaigning in other states for the party. It’s not clear how many of them will be in Delhi.”

SRK’s likely presence had been reported earlier. AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes had said, “Obviously, we will request Shah Rukh to campaign for our candidates in the Capital”, in response to a question whether Khan, a Delhi boy, would come here during campaigning.

For the BJP, actresses Hema Malini and Smriti Malhotra Irani, Rahul Mahajan and ex-cricketer Kirti Azad are some of the tentative names. Suniel Shetty may be roped in, too. Designer Ritu Beri is already campaigning on Vijay Goel’s website. However, the BJP still calls Narendra Modi its campaign trump card here.
