Courteney Cox and David Arquette have sparked speculation that the two may be on the verge of reuniting.
The two were affectionate this week while promoting Scream 4.
Cox, who was spotted holding hands with Arquette earlier this week, is also gushing about how much she loves him.
"Our relationship is the best it's probably been in a long time. Our communication and the way we are, just learning about each other in a different way, it's smart," the New York Daily News quoted Cox as telling Extra.
"It's weird to be at this age and to look at ourselves but it's hard and it's important and I'm glad we are, so... I love him," she said.
The Scream star finished a month-long rehab stay in January and has been working to repair his family ties ever since.
The couple began a trial separation last year when Cox announced she wanted to re-evaluate their marriage and herself.
The Cougar Town star is particularly pleased with Arquette's commitment to turning his life around.
"Oh, my God, I'm so proud of him!" she said, adding later that he's the "best he's ever looked!"
"He's so cute that I'm like, ''Dude, I don't understand. Really?! 'Why are you that cute right now?'" she added.
