Singer Courtney Love has apologised to daughter Frances Bean Cobain after she angered her by claiming that Kurt Cobain's former bandmate Dave Grohl hit Bean.

Singer Courtney Love has apologised to daughter Frances Bean Cobain after she angered her by claiming that Kurt Cobain's former bandmate Dave Grohl hit Bean.
"Bean, sorry I believed the gossip. Mommy loves you," she tweeted Saturday.
"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy," Frances said, answering her mother's earlier accusations.
"The claims were offensive and absolutely untrue," people.com quoted Grohl as saying.
Frances is engaged to Rambles frontman Isaiah Silva.
