Irked by his controversial remarks about Jesus Christ, Egypt’s Music Union has banned musician Elton John from performing there later this month.

Irked by his controversial remarks about Jesus Christ, Egypt’s Music Union has banned musician Elton John from performing there later this month.

John, a homosexual, suggested in an interview in February, that Jesus was a “super-intelligent gay man”. He then took digs at the Middle East, stating, “Try being a gay woman in the Middle East — you’re as good as dead.”
