Recently, actors Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif started a city tour in the country for the promotion their upcoming film Tees Maar Khan, and were amazed to see millions of fans turning up at every venue. The actors were greeted by a crowd of 25,000 people at a mall in Ahmedabad.
Jaydeep, an ardent fan of khiladi Kumar, gifted him a pendant with an Om engraved on it. Kaif was touched when she
received a ring from a 12-year-old boy. Needless to say that the actors were overwhelmed by their fans’ gestures.
But soon after, in Jaipur and Ludhiana, things got a little out of hand. In Jaipur, about 40,000 people landed up at the venue and Kumar had to escort his heroine out. In Ludhiana, about 10,000 people waited outside their hotel. The police had to tackle about one lakh people at the venue and the event could be started only after two hours of the scheduled time.
