DeGeneres was the first to take a sip of the perfume and then offered it to the actress, reports contactmusic.com.

Berry was on the show to promote her new perfume but got more than she bargained for when DeGeneres helped herself to a drink of vanilla and sandalwood mix.

As she was pouring herself the 'drink', DeGeneres said: "It smells good, what's in it...? It's pretty much natural, right?"

Berry replied: "I don't think we're supposed to drink it, Ellen. Wow, I didn't think you could drink it, but I guess you can." DeGeneres added: "It's delicious."
