The diplomatic community of the Capital turned up in huge numbers to sample the new Italian wines. The evening, which was co-hosted by the hotel’s GM Jay Rathore, had the wine brand’s Sales and Marketing Director, Roberto Barbato telling guests about the nuances of fine wine. In attendance were High Commissioner of Malta Wilfred Kenely, wife of the Ambassador of Ireland to India, Maria Soledad Aizpurua Garzon; Columbian ambassador Juan Pinto Saavedra and Belgian Ambassador Jean Deboutte with wife Regina. Dressed in chic attire, the expats enjoyed the sparkling wine and cheese. Also present were Mexican Ambassador Jaime Nualart and Austrian ambassador Ferdinand Maultaschl with wife Dominique.
