: Ask yourself what is your need. Whether your photography will be limited to only social gathering or you are frequent shooter of wildlife and landscpaes. It’ll be a lot easier to make your choice.

Get close

: A higher zoom peps you up, no doubt. But check if the mega-pixel too is running simultaneously. Else you may be able to zoom in a lot, but the output will not be satisfactory.

Heavy pixel

: Again, having a better megapixel is not all. A higher MP means a heavier file which is not always good. For normal use, anything between 3 to 5 MP is just fine.

Be equipped

: Buying only the camera wouldn’t help. Depending on your photography, you need to match the lenses. Ask and try out various combinations as you’ll spend more money on these than the camera itself.

Keep in mind

: Memories are priceless, so don’t go for the cheap ones. The warranty is also important.
