Brushing aside rumours about his affairs with Riya Sen, the Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel says he is having a good chemistry with her and they are working together in a film too.
You worked with Rekha in the film Kudiyon Ka Hai Zaman. How was your experience?
I think she is as glamorous as she used to be in her own days. She is a perfect combination of beautiful looks and elegant style. Had she been of my age and time, I would have died for her, such an elegant woman she is.
I have been her fan since childhood and I have grown up watching her in different roles. I am no one to judge her acting skills. She is a living legend in the industry today.
What about talks of your affair with Riya Sen?
Sometimes I hear that Riya has refused to work with me. Then I also hear that we are having an affair. These are all rumours. There is no truth in it. In fact, I am having a very good chemistry with her and we are working together in a film too. If people take it as an affair, I can't do any thing about this.
Any comment about your MMS with her?
I have refused to react on this issue earlier also.
You actors never accept anything if it is on the negative side. Don't you people have the courage to come face to face with the reality?
I am not afraid of the truth but most of the time people wag their tongue for nothing. People are in the habit of leveling all sort of silly allegations and create rumours about us. To remain calm and comfortable, the best policy in the industry is to stay away from reacting on such rumours.
You seem to have a very good rapport with Emraan Hashmi. Isn't it?
Yes, we are like old pals. We have done three films together and he is like brother to me. If I am doing a film with him, it's like perfect harmony and rhythm on the set. We share great understanding also.
