Christine Hakim (Indonesia)
President of the Asian & Arab Jury, one of Indonesia's best-known and versatile actresses and six-time recipient of Indonesia's prestigious Piala Citra Award for Best Actress. The Indian Government conferred on her the Jawaharlal Nehru Award in 1993. Through her charitable organization Christine Hakim supports social and educational work in Indonesia.
Chantal Akerman (Belgium)
Scriptwriter-cinematographer-actress-producer Chantal Akerman is above all a prolific director. Self-taught and individualistic, she is known for her personal style of filmmaking with minimal plot and dialogue and with themes about the passage of time that represent her observations on identity, sexuality and politics. One of the most important directors of her generation in Europe.

A leading artist of Taiwanese Cinema and over 90 of his screenplays made into films. Winner of the prestigious Golden Horse Awards several times he is one of Taiwan's best selling authors.
Kais al Zubaidi (Palestine)
Photographer, editor, director and author, he has directed a number of documentary and narrative films about Palestine, some of which have won awards. Author of the book Palestine in the Cinema he has also worked intermittently with the PLO film unit in Beirut.
