She shot to fame as the blonde doctor on Grey’s Anatomy and Hollywood beauty Katherine Heigl has returned to the lighter side after a brief stint as a brunette.
She shot to fame as the blonde doctor on Grey’s Anatomy and Hollywood beauty Katherine Heigl has returned to the lighter side after a brief stint as a brunette.
The 31-year-old actor debuted her new look while attending the launch of a charity for stray dogs, reported Daily Mail online.
Heigl was attending the launch of the ‘Compassion Revolution’, a new initiative to address the pet over-population crisis in the Los Angeles area.
To kickstart the initiative the foundation announced a donation of $1 million for neuter programmes throughout the city and neighbouring communities.
Heigl and her mother Nancy also run an off shoot charity called ‘Heigl’s Hounds of Hope’. The organisation was founded in honour of her brother, who was killed in a car accident in 1986. Heigl has six dogs of her own that she rescued from various shelters.
