The glamour model's shock exit was revealed in a video posted on the ITV website.

Price was picked alongside former boxer Joe Bugner for the Bad Pit trial, but said: "Someone else has to do it - I'm just not doing it anymore."

Viewers were told Hollywood actor George Hamilton was ruled out of taking part because of a medical condition.

Once out of the jungle and reunited with her Blackberry, the model posted a message of thanks to her supportive fans via Twitter.
