Apparently her friends used to call her the Little Mermaid – after the Disney character in school, reports the Mirror.

They recall, “Even when it wasn’t appropriate, when times weren’t right, she’d just burst out singing.”

A friend says Gaga “called up her local nightclub and told them about a girl who was really good and they should book her”.
