This Diwali, light a digital flame in the name of Mother Nature. As part of the ongoing Diwali celebrations in the Capital, Hindustan Times and Intel present a digital diya — one that will give you a chance to wish your family hi-tech style.

The diya, which is installed at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, is a large LED wall that will keep lighting up with every Diwali greeting that is sent in. All you have to do is SMS your messages and see the diya light up, with your message displayed for everyone to see. On Friday, students of Ryan International School, who have promised to celebrate a no crackers Diwali, sent in their wishes to make the flame grow brighter. “My daughter has sent twenty messages and even posted them on her Facebook account,” says Neha Kapoor, a 47-year-old enteprenuer.
