I chose Miranda House because they have the best faculty for English. We had the most amazing professors in the university. On second thoughts, I often felt that I should have joined a co-ed college but then it was a decision I personally made.

I had three part time jobs while in college so never had the time to attend classes. I submitted tutorials only by threat to life and limb from my teachers. So you really can't call me studious, I was quite notorious.

Many feel that I might have been involved in dramatics and other societies but there was no ECA for me in college. My only intention was to catch the DU special bus and rush home because it dropped me right at my doorstep and I didn't want to miss it for anything. I used to bunk so many classes during college and my teachers use to give threats that they will flunk me.

In fact, I didn't attend the famous Miranda fest called Tempest even for a single year. I didn't even hang out at Kamla Nagar like all students in North Campus do. In fact, I didn't even know half the people in my class.

If at all I hung out, it was at the college canteen. I used to be so broke that I could only afford to have the pav bhaaji or chholay bhature for 10 Rupees twice a week and it was just so yummy that I felt I had got the worth of my money. Ragging used to happen in north campus but I wasn't ragged and never quite had the energy to rag my juniors.

And I won’t really know if I was eye candy for guys in college because I never noticed. I was busy looking not at the guys but at the approaching DU special bus! As for dressing up, I used to wear kurtis with jeans and patialas.
