Actor Madhavan was in for a pleasant surprise when he left for Punjab to shoot his latest film, Tanu Weds Manu.
Upon the news of his visit to the state, a huge gathering of people waited to greet the actor at the airport. Maddy was overwhelmed by the warm welcome he received from his fans.
The actor was left amused when his fans from Punjab started calling out to him as Maddy Paaji, thereby giving him an all-new moniker.
