Jail may have bombed at the box-office, but Madhur Bhandarkar hasn’t lost hope. The filmmaker has started work on his next film, a comedy! “My next film is a woman-centric comedy. I still working on its script. It’s a little too early to talk about the details,” says Bhandarkar.

However, he says he plans to start shooting by March or April 2010. “Till then, I’m reading books, watching movies, spending time with my family and friends and gymming hard to stay fit, while trying to finish the script. I have been ignoring my health for the past two years.”

His troubles in the Preetii Jain rape case also seem to be far from over. Says Bhandarkar about the case into which investigations were opened again recently, “I’ve always respected the court and I know I will get justice.”
