The singer wants to make sure the three-year-old gets good education and sees life outside Malawi, reported newsoftheworld.co.uk.

"Madonna loves Mercy. She wants to be part of her life and provide for her. She wants to make sure Mercy has everything she needs in life and her dreams are fulfilled," said a source.

The 50-year-old is working with her lawyers to set up a trust fund to pay for Mercy's schooling and travel even if the ruling that she can't adopt her still stands.

The singer will make sure that the man claiming to be Mercy's father can't get his hands on the cash.
