Making Vidya groove

Saroj Khan talks about making Bollywood actor Vidya Balan dance to her tunes and second season of her show Nachle Ve With Saroj Khan.

Ace choreographer Saroj Khan, who has made actresses such as Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dance to her tunes, has actress Vidya Balan on her wishlist now.

“I want to make Vidya Balan dance. I like her expressions. I remember seeing her in Lage Raho Munnabhai, her expressions in the song, Pal Pal, were extremely good,” Saroj said.

The choreographer is ready with the second season of the show, Nachle Ve With Saroj Khan. Asked if the advent of international dance forms has suppressed the classical dance, she says, “I respect all dance forms, but I blame the parents for the suppression of classical dance forms because they never encouraged their kids to learn them.”
