Run BTS Ep 142: Jimin and V showcase their mischievous sides, Jungkook grooves to Dolphin

BTS' variety show Run BTS premiered its 142nd episode on Tuesday. The members were involved in a cooking challenge with chef Baek Jong-won overseeing the activity.

Run BTS has returned after a month-long break with its 142nd episode on Tuesday. BTS had given the variety show a break in May as they dived into the launch of their new song Butter, followed by their BTS Festa celebrations.

In the new episode, members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook reunited with South Korean chef Baek Jong-won for a cooking challenge episode. The episode appeared to have been recorded when Suga was recovering from his shoulder injury for the member was missing from the episode.

Baek Jong-won divided the six members into two groups and the members were asked to cook two dishes. The episode in all was fun. RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook left fans in splits with their goofy acts. Here are a few of their funny acts:

During their cooking session, RM was seen folding kimchi and suddenly broke into a song. The song caught fans' attention.

Fans treated to mini-Eat Jin session:

Although it has been a while since Jin hosted his famous 'Eat Jin' session, the new Run BTS episode treated fans to a mini-Eat Jin session.

J-Hope running into an empty chair:

At the start of the episode, J-Hope was seen participating in entering the room with his fellow members. As the members took a seat, J-Hope realised he reached the other end of the room, where all the seats were taken. The moment left fans gushing.


Mischief on Jimin and V's minds:

Jimin and V were seen at their mischievous best. Jimin was seen channelling his inner vlogger and singing to a bunch of spring onions while V felt a tad left out when Baek Jong-won was helping Jin with his sleeves. V instantly ran up to the chef, purposely pulled his sleeve down and requested him to help.

Jungkook grooves to Dolphin:

BTS singer Jungkook took fans by surprise when he suddenly broke into the K-pop song Dolphin.

The new Run BTS episode premiered a day after RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook wrapped the BTS Festa and their two-day Muster event, BTS 2021 Muster Sowoozoo. The two-day live-streaming event featured the members perform to their hit song tracks.

On the first day of the event, BTS took fans by surprise when they performed Daechwita, originally by Suga's alter-ego Agust D, together. The debut live performance featured members Jin and V sport fake beards while all the members were seen dressed in traditional outfits. On the second day of BTS 2021 Muster Sowoozoo, the members came together to perform J-Hope and Becky G's song Chicken Noodle Soup.

Meanwhile, BTS' latest track Butter has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the third consecutive week. The track is BTS' second all-English track and the group has released a few versions of the song.
