New life after 9/11

An MBA-motivational speaker, he is 35 and has already seen life, and death. Sujo John is a 9/11 survivor. On the morning of September 11, 2001, he was six months old in New York City. Watching the Statue of Liberty from the 81st floor of his office in the North Tower, World Trade Center, John had nothing to complain. "It was a beautiful day," John says during his two-day trip to Delhi where he addressed slum children in Kalkaji.
“My pregnant wife, too, worked in the same area.” As John was faxing some documents to Philadelphia, he heard an explosion. The first plane had just crashed through his floor. John was lucky. Both he and his wife survived. “9/11 brought new life to me,” says John. “I started questioning if life is more than just climbing the corporate ladder.” John decided to do something ‘productive’.
“We all have trials and sorrows,”he says. Today, he motivates people to bring postivity in their lives. He has spoken in several cities in the US, including places that have bore the brunt of terrorism such as Mumbai, Ireland and Pakistan.
