No IPL team for Salman Khan

For a few days now, reports have been claiming that actor Salman Khan is interesting in bailing out the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Deccan Chargers, which was terminated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday.

For a few days now, reports have been claiming that actor Salman Khan is interesting in bailing out the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Deccan Chargers, which was terminated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday.

According to the buzz, the actor was among the interested buyers and had even submitted a bid to take over the ownership of the team.

But Salman has denied these reports on Twitter, asserting that he is not interested in the IPL bandwagon. He posted a message on Friday, saying, “No IPL team for me just being human and movies (sic).” He followed up the message with another: “Clear? Good (sic).

The base price for the Hyderabad franchise is estimated at around Rs 750 crore.
