star Pamela Anderson has urged the Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to retire aging monkeys at its research facilities.

She has also complained of various other issues faced by animals there.

Writing on behalf of PETA India, the star also asked for the facility to switch to “modern, humane non-animal research and training methods”. “Anderson sent the letter on behalf of PETA India after watching video footage taken secretly inside AIIMS,” a PETA release said.
