Shakira has confessed it took her multiple therapy sessions to get over her body hang-ups. The singer revealed she started therapy in 2001. “All through my 20s, I spent more time worrying what I didn’t have than thinking about what I did. I’m just like all women — we’re born to criticise ourselves,” she said.

“My therapist taught me not to feel so pressured. Sometimes I’ll speak to my therapist for an hour a day.” She added: “I’ve become so much more comfortable with who I am and the body God has given me. Now I’m in my 30s, I’m happy with who I am.”
